"Phalaenopsis Orchid"
The delicate disclike petals of Phalaenopsis Orchids created by hand in Silver, Copper and golden Bronze bloom in extraordinary reality atop a stalk of Bronze. The broad-leaved foliage and roots are green patina Bronze.
The sculpture rises from in a high fire ceramic bowl whose triangular shape suits the posture of the sculpture beautifully.
The bowl is filled with river polished black pebbles and gemstones of Green Aventurine and Tiger's Eye.
The artist‘s signature appears on the base.
Phalaenopsis Orchids measure 14" to the top bloom. The bowl measures 7.5" in diameter.
